The Government College University Faisalabad started as an elementary school in Karkhana Bazar, Faisalabad. The status of the college changed from old to intermediate in 1905. In 1933, degree levels were introduced, followed by postgraduate disciplines in 1963. A Punjabi government decreed it an independent institution in 1990, and it was granted its status in 2002.

6- Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan

It was founded in 2009 and was named after British Indian and Pakistani secular democratic socialists and Pashtuns Abdul Wali Khan. Mardan is located in the northern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Campus facilities include a sports complex, a number of student hostels, computer labs, a library, and laboratories.

 7- Quaid-e-Azam University

Islamabad University was formerly known as QAU, and it was established in 1967.
